SOME CONSIDERATIONS

  • Plasmablast/ Fibroblast is very safe and side effects are rare, but infection, scarring and temporary change of skin pigmentation may occur.
  • The treatment should last longer term rather than a few months, although it is hard to predict exactly.
  • Ageing is a dynamic process and there are many factors affecting clients individually. Lifestyle, diet and genetics, just to mention a few.
  • As of today, permanent results are not possible. After the Plasmablast/ Fibroblast treatment or traditional surgery your skin will be subject to ageing.
  • Your skin will continue to relax (loosen) again. In some rare situations ageing may be accelerated and then effectiveness of Plasmablast/ Fibroblast would be shortened. The Sawtry Beauty Clinic technician will discuss these conditions, so clients have a better understanding of what to expect.

Normally we recommend between 1 and a course of 3 Fibroblast Plasma Pen treatments at 6 week intervals to give lasting results. Most of our clients see full results after 3 to 6 weeks but some results can be seen instantly.

We may recommend combining other treatments with fibroblast, for example HIFU body, or AHA boosters for the body areas (for stretch marks), Mesotherapy, Cryopen or advanced electrolysis.

A full consultation will be required before your Fibroblast Pen treatment. It is so that we can get to know you, get to know your requirements and concerns. We can recommend a treatment course for your treatments at Sawtry Beauty Clinic. All of our treatments are with our highly experienced aesthetic practitioner Amanda Allport.

How Does Plasmablast/ Fibroblast Work?

The Plasmablast/ Fibroblast device uses plasma (an ionised gas) between the tip of Plasmablast/ Fibroblast tool and the client’s skin. During the treatment electric arc forms, referred to as plasma flash or mini lightening. Only the surface of skin is touched causing tissue to retract. This is known as sublimation, the process of turning solid directly to gas. Targeted tissue sublimates so there is no damage to the surrounding areas or deeper skin layers. The client can resume regular activities right away with minimal discomfort.

Is a Consultation Required?

Yes – anyone interested in the Plasmablast/ Fibroblast treatment is required to have a face-to-face consultation. Careful assessment by Sawtry Beauty Clinic will ensure the right treatment plan. Multiple factors affect the ageing process. Each person and each treated area is different and needs to be determined individually. Our goal is to keep clients informed and meet their expectations.

How is the Plasmablast/ Fibroblast Treatment Performed?

When activated, the Plasmablast/ Fibroblast tool creates plasma flash which travels from the tool’s tip to the treatment area. The tool itself never touches the skin; however, plasma flash creates a tiny dot upon contact. Further points are applied creating a symmetrical grid over the treatment area. This in effect causes tightening of skin fibres. Only the surface of the skin is affected and the deeper layer, known as the basal lamina, is not. Plasmablast/ Fibroblast is a non-invasive treatment – there are no cuts to the skin and no stitching is necessary. Plasmablast/ Fibroblast is completely bloodless and is without unnecessary damage to surrounding tissues.

How Long is the Plasmablast/ Fibroblast Treatment

To minimize any discomfort numbing cream will be applied to the treatment area. It will take 30 minutes for the anaesthetic to take effect. The treatment itself takes between 15 and 30 minutes, depending on the size fo the treated area. Your appointment should last longer than 1 hour.

Does the Treatment Hurt?

Plasmablast/ Fibroblast is a non-surgical treat with no pain o0r minimal discomfort reported by clients. Topical cream may be applied to the treated area prior to the treatment. Immediately after treatment the skin will be redenned and slightly swollen. This will usually last up to 3 days, although a slight redness may remain for up to 2 weeks. During the treatment carbon crusts will form on the skin directly where the Fibroblast tool was applied. Crusts should not be touched for 5-7 days. However, post-treatment foundation can be used to camouflage them. Sawtry Beauty Clinic offers specific Plasmablast/ Fibroblast powder in two variations for either lighter or darker skin complexions. To minimize complications you will be informed on the proper aftercare following the treatment.
